I made myself the Wedding Coordinator for my parent’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. The role was inevitable since I was the one who gave them the idea of renewing their marriage vows. I certainly have a thing for weddings and I have a knack for floral arrangements and organizing parties (it really makes use of my OCD), so I carried on with the conceptualizing and planning, and did everything I could; I was hands-on. It was a very personal journey for all of us in our family. It took me almost 2 years to think and conceptualize and fabricate what’s inside my mind. During that course, I learned so many things about my parents, my family, our relatives, God, myself and love. It was all about love, after all. So much so that I even realized love within that two-year period.
I’m grateful I succeeded and have overcome so many obstacles. I have proven myself as a florist. I have proven that I could accomplish goals and tasks and that nothing is really impossible when you put your heart into it. I am a living proof of that. I couldn’t be happier that it’s finished. I am grateful for those who gave their support and especially to those who believed in me.
I offer all of I did to my parents, to their love, my family and yes, to love itself.
